That !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! I posted earlier. I don't have the money for it now, but the only other Alfetta I've seen for sale recently has just !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! . So, the plan would be take out a loan for £7000ish, fly to Cyprus, buy the car, road-trip it back through Europe and then sell it when I'm back here to cover the costs. Whaddaya reckon?

Would definitely be fun. I've been to Cyprus, was a nice place. The main issue I foresee is getting there and the car isnt as described.

I am worried about that actually. If worst comes to worst take out AA cover, drive 100 miles and then get trailered back ;) £5000 is NP enough to justify that.

Either that or have a nice holiday in Cyprus and fly back :)

Dude, that's an awesome girlfriend! My last ex wouldn't go for a trip in my old 4runner cause she thought it was too slow and noisy. She didn't last long haha. Best of luck to ya!

She is brilliant :) she even wants to share the driving which is excellent!

She's never been a car person, and she's slightly miffed that it appears to be rubbing off :) she now wants a Hillman Imp and she wants to drive the Citroen BX when it's on the road :)

Lucky bastard. Both on the girlfriend front and the fact that you GET to go on a trip to Cyprus to buy an Alfa and own a Citroen BX... You Europeans and your weird magical land...
